We are currently seeking a Cleanroom Technician to join our team!
On-site requirement 5 days/week
Location: 2400 Skymark Avenue, Unit 4, Mississauga
The pay rate for this role is: $27 - $28.5.
Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.

Position Summary:
The Cleanroom Technician reports to the Pharmacy Production Supervisor and operates within the Production department at Fresenius Kabi Canada’s Hospital Compounding facility. Under the direction of the Supervisor, Cleanroom Team Lead, Manager of Cleanroom Operations, and/or Pharmacist in Charge, the technician is responsible for the aseptic preparation of sterile admixtures in accordance with company guidelines and master batch records.
In addition to compounding activities, the role supports staging, picking, decontamination, labeling, inspection, and packaging of all compounded batches.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile products using proper aseptic techniques in compliance with established procedures
Adhere to GMP standards, SOPs, and all quality and safety requirements
Perform staging, decontamination, labeling, inspection, and packaging activities
Maintain proper line clearance and ensure accuracy during all production steps
Operate and maintain production equipment safely and effectively
Ensure adequate availability of cleanroom supplies to meet production needs
Complete all required in-process checks to maintain compliance and product quality
Participate in inventory counts, validations, calibration, and environmental monitoring
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper waste handling in cleanroom areas
Support training of new employees and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other departments
Maintain up-to-date training and comply with all company policies and procedures
Working Conditions:
Extended periods of standing and repetitive motions
Frequent use of arms and manual dexterity during compounding and packaging
Lifting up to 20 kg may be required
Prolonged gowning (4–5 hours) in full cleanroom attire
High attention to detail required at all times in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Pharmacy Technician diploma or post-secondary education in a related field
1–2 years of compounding experience is an asset
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of GMP and standard operating procedures
Familiarity with Lean/5S principles is an asset
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
